Free Festival: Haarlem Culinair

Once a year the biggest free culinary festival within Haarlem takes place in our wonderful city centre. In 2014 even more restaurants will show their culinary creations at the 20th edition of Haarlem Culinair! The organisation of the culinary event announced that there will be more restaurants this year than in the previous years. Amongst the newcomers: Ratatouille, Brick and Villa Westend. The free event will be opened on July 31 and ended on August 3.

Yet again the Grote Markt is THE PLACE TO BE when you’d like to visit and enjoy the culinary festival.

Next to the new participating restaurants there will also be some ‘oldies’. Think of Restaurant Fris, Restaurant ML, Vis & Ko, Brasserie de Karmeliet, Sushi Time, Grand Café Nobel, Restaurant Dijkers and De Haven van Zandvoort.

Although there’s no entrance fee, the fences remain. The reason for this lies in the fact that restaurants can serve their small dishes on porcelain platters and drinks in glassware then.

Haarlem Culinair starts on Thursday at 17h00 and the other days at 13h00. Ending time, all days, is at 23h00.

Are you dying to join in for a drink and bite? If so, you’d better sign up immediately to our event and ensure you taste some of the offered delicacies with us! 🙂
