Spaarne 66, second best terrace!

Haarlem’s restaurant “Spaarne 66” has ended as second best in the contest “Best Terrace of the Netherlands”. The jury of the Misset Terras Top 100 was overwhelmed by the warmth of this family business which consists of mother Marianne Lemmers and her daughters Kim, Sophie and Laura.

Over 400 restaurants and cafés with terraces participated in this contest. Each and every year the competition gets more exciting and is raised to a higher-level quality.

For a few years in a row Spaarne 66 has obtained a well deserved spot in the list of top terraces in the Netherlands. Last year the restaurant acquired a ninth-place finish and was already seen as a potential winner.

“Spaarne 66 is a source of warmth. An establishment which practically bursts from warmth..”  is one of the glorified descriptions in the jury’s reports.

According to those same reports Spaarne 66 seems to be the place where you’ll get rapidly served as a guest and where it happens with lots of warmth, attention plus a big smile!

Restaurant Wollebrand in Honselersdijk became the ultimate winner.
