Working atmosphere more important than money

Research by Jobbird.com shows that only 14 percent of the employees consider the salary as the most important factor when choosing a new job. The working atmosphere / colleagues (36 percent) and the tasks and responsibilities of the job function itself (34 percent) seem to be much more important.

Employers should work on building and preserving a good image to attract professionals. Especially now that figures from Yacht show that more and more professionals are tempted to move to a new job and that the number of vacancies for higher educated people grows for the fourth quarter in a row. With a view to the future ‘corporate branding’ is expected to play a bigger role in the recruitment process.
