Finally, the Galerie Bloemendaal reopens after five months with a colourful spring exhibition and is waiting for us to enjoy it, together with the artists and good music.
“Just like the sun colours the flowers, art colours life”, is the warm title of the Spring Exhibition in the Galerie Bloemendaal.
The opening will take place on Friday, May 21 at 1 p.m. and the exhibition will last until June 21, 2021. Most artists will be present and can explain their work to you. Gallery Bloemendaal is located at Bloemendaalseweg 46, Bloemendaal. The other opening days and times are: Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Max Koning will be present at the gallery every Sunday.
The participating artists are partly a choice of Max Koning.
The exhibiting artists are Max Koning, Lian Pedroli, Barta de Broekert, Angeline Rood, Roos van Vlijmen, Floor de Bruyn Kops, Henk Zwanenburg, Joke Hoogendoorn and Marion van Harreveld.
For Max Koning, the silence that fell over the world last year due to the Corona pandemic created an extra passion in the silence of his studio, with the hope of a new life in nature as the subject.
He shows, among other things, the work “Bollenveld bij Vogelenzang“, in addition to six other paintings.
Angeline Rood makes objects out of paper. Paper always forms the basis for her work, in several layers, colors and often combined with thread. For example, she creates large “patches” or 3D figures.
Lian Pedroli shows her love ofexplosion of scents and colors. She is actually trying to capture spring on canvas.
Floor de Bruyn Kops shows flowers and trees under a new light. An early start of budding nature.
Roos van Vlijmen, sculptor, shows a painted replica of the statue of the Virgin Mary that was placed in the roadside chapel belonging to the house in 8-10-2000: “Het Heiveld” in Helvoirt.
Henk Zwanenburg often sketches landscapes with a car, train or boat, which are sometimes depicted almost photographically. The environment is painted with a clear wink towards the Impressionists in different colors and wild strokes. His work looks like a modern fairytale.
Marion van Harreveld shows photos of tulips.
Joke Hoogendoorn has colorful jewelry and pearls, acquiring all her material from China.
On June 18, the Jazzband De Vondelier will perform in the gallery with two concerts, followed by a presentation of their debut album and a drink. De Vondelier’s music was created through the collaboration of lyricist Mark Opfer and composer William Barrett. It is a symbiosis between music and language.
