For anyone staying around Haarlem this August, we picked out a few events and happenings that caught our eye. Don’t forget to follow the guidance and make your reservations (where required) early.
As the long summer days and nights continue, it is good to get some activities planned outdoors – and indoors as well (because, of course, we cannot trust the Dutch weather). One such outdoors venue is Caprera Openluchttheater – it is great that this special venue has been able to open and welcome guests this summer, though one of the downsides to the COVID-19 restrictions is the reduced capacity – so you see the ‘Uitverkocht’ sign a lot. We found one event for kids that still has tickets, listed below. In fact, at the time of writing this, there are tickets available for the highlighted events (be quick though!). The forecast looks good at least for the start of August, so it might be a good time to get out and have some socially-distanced fun in the sun.
What: Yoga on the Roof
When: Wednesday 5 August (10:30 to 11:30)
What could be a better way to start your morning than rooftop yoga? Lucky enough for those of us who do not have a rooftop terrace, you can join the yoga session courtesy of The Human Fabrique and grab a zen moment on the roof of DeDAKKAS. During the yoga class, the restaurant is still closed so that everyone joining for yoga has peace and space. Book now if you want to join (very limited places!) and don’t forget to bring your own yoga mat. More details and ticlets
