Indira was born in Moscow, grew up in India, has lived in Dubai and London, before moving to Hoofddorp in 2014, where she lives with her husband. She has worked as an architect, a furniture designer, an assistant professor, and a curator. Indira enjoys interacting with people, exploring streets and museums in the Netherlands .

Home away from home

What is home? Is it a place? Is it the people around you? Or is it the objects that you carry with you to make your home. When does the new country start to ‘feel’ like home? These are some of the questions I am trying to investigate through my photographs.
