Julia is born in the Netherlands but grew up in different places and cities. After graduating from the University of Amsterdam in 2018 where she studied Media & Culture with a main focus on film, she worked several jobs in both media as well as the cultural sector. This fits her profile as she is widely interested in culture, history, cultural heritage but also media, technology and digital infrastructure. Already familiar with(in) the art world, she strives for more (online) visibility and exposure for culture, art, exhibitions and events. This starts with digitalizing and presenting them so that there will always be an online digital archive for all the great things happening in the cultural sector that others mights have missed out on.
