Building Heemstede largely demolished during fire

The fire that raged last night in an interior design store on Kerklaan in Heemstede was under control around midnight. The fire brigade largely demolished the building while extinguishing the fire.

 

A fire broke out in the store’s warehouse around 7pm last night, possibly involving rolls of carpet. Local residents were called on via NL-Alert to close windows and doors and turn off ventilation due to the smoke nuisance.
