The Carnival parade in Eindhoven has been cancelled this weekend due to forecasted high winds.
Carnival organisers made known that other activities would still go ahead in a revised order. But their carnival procession has been cancelled for safety reasons. Some small parades might however, go ahead with some modifications to the floats, reports the NOS broadcaster.
The Dutch celebration of Carnival takes place in the south of the Netherlands. It traditionally precedes spring and includes four days of light-hearted festivities and partying.
