The total number of Haarlem residents that tested positive for coronavirus over the last week was 553. The figures were announced in the new weekly update from the RIVM. A total of 67,542 Dutch people received confirmation that they are infected with coronavirus between 21 and 27 October.
Coronavirus infections in Haarlem last week
With a total of 553 Haarlem residents having tested positive for coronavirus last week, this now brings the total number of registered positively-tested Haarlem residents since the start of the pandemic to 2,655. If you look at the week before, 499 Haarlemmers had tested positive for coronavirus. The number this week is therefore higher than the week before.
Hospital admissions and deaths in Haarlem
Last week, there were six hospital admissions and one person died as a result of coronavirus. As a result, hospital admissions due to the virus in Haarlem since the start of the crisis have risen to 104 and the number of deaths to 75.
