Haarlem Culinair attracts every year circa 70.000 visitors and is the biggest culinary festival in the Haarlem area. This will be the 20th edition of the culinary festival. Different kinds of restaurants and bars offer food, beer and wine tastings. There will also be a couple of music bands and of course the traditional “oyster man”. Come join us together with the Amsterdam Photo Club for a ‘Haarlem Summer Photowalk’ on August 16th at 13:00. What’s a photowalk? A photowalk is a fun event where anyone interested in taking photos meet up and walk around taking photo’s together. Share, learn and get inspired by others.
In these times of uncertainty, where nothing is what it seems, where technology is taking over and where there is no such thing as ‘there are no facts, only interpretations’, one thing is for sure: Every last Friday of the month, there will ALWAYS be the expatsHaarlem monthly drink. So come and join us to celebrate the end of the month and week together!
The Historic Grand Prix, Zandvoort is now in its third year. Its instant success in its first year meant that the event attracted over 45,000 visitors last year. This year, it can only get better. This Historic Grand Prix runs from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st and is a great spectator event with many different historic racing cars fighting for first place within their series. Visitors have access to view ALL THE CARS in the paddock. We have 10 free tickets to give away and one is yours (!) if you are within the first 10 people to sign up. 🙂

Parksessies is a small and creative event in the city park Haarlemmerhout, with plenty of arts, theatre and music in a summer picnic atmosphere. On 4 Summer Wednesdays the park will be transformed by theatre and music makers into a summer happening where Haarlemmers join on picnic blankets to get surprised & inspired and to enjoy a bite and chat with new and old friends. expatsHaarlem will also get into this summer experience. Join us!
Kids playing and mamas and papas chatting… Does it sound like a great plan for a Sunday morning? Join us on Sunday in the forest of Haarlem “Haarlemmerhout”. The mini-farm and playground keep the kids busy, while the parents can have a chat and get to know each other better.
Playing ball, running, jumping… That is what kids love! At least my little one. Join us on Sunday morning at the recently reopened Reinaldapark. In plans: picnic and a lot of activities for kids.
