Next Monday 23-11 exactly 770 years passed since Haarlem received municipal rights. The North Holland Archive celebrates this special occasion with all the inhabitants of Haarlem and in particular Haarlemmers who – like the city – celebrate their birthday on November 23!

All the inhabitants of Haarlem celebrating their birthday that day are cordially invited with a guest from 8 pm to join a festive breakfast in the Janskerk, the public center of the North Holland Archive in the Jansstraat 40 in Haarlem. During the breakfast the mayor of Haarlem, Bernt Schneiders, will unveil the new display case with the city of Haarlem law. From 10 o’clock may all residents of Haarlem can come to visit and admire the city law. The first 770 visitors will receive a piece of cake. Admission is free.

Sign Up for this breakfast is required and can be done via info@noord-hollandsarchief.nl. Please mention your name, whether you come alone or with a guest and your birth date.
