The Haarlem non-alcoholic liquor store Nix & Nix has raised 750,000 euros in investments. The first non-alcoholic liquor store opened less than a year ago, now there are two branches and several pop-up locations around the holidays. Wim told to NH Nieuws that “Of course we realized that there was an increasing demand for an alcohol-free alternative. But that it would go so quickly, that’s not the case,” says Boekema while he is walking at a wine fair. “Even at a wine fair you can now see an entire department with non-alcoholic wines. That was really not the case a few years ago.”

In June last year, as far as is known, the first non-alcoholic liquor store in the Netherlands opened in Haarlem. He is happy that they have grown so much in a short time that many people already know where to find them. But it still has to grow. The general public has yet to discover an alcohol-free cocktail. See, you don’t see an alternative to spirits very often. So there is still a lot to do!”

With the money raised, Boekema hopes to be able to expand this year.
