If laughter is the food of love and friendship, then come get your fill at the Comedy of Love, a hilariously fun Valentine’s Day improv show. Whether you’re looking for a unique date night or flying solo, you’ll have a blast with our veteran performers like Rogier Bak and Nira Tal and new talents.

This is THE perfect Valentine’s Day treat for anyone who loves to laugh. The show takes place in our ”theater on the Roof of Haarlem” at deDakkas, with a unique view on the skyline of the city.

Comedians

Rogier Bak

While Rogier is Dutch, he’s worked tirelessly to make sure you could never tell. Having spent most of his formative years the US, he feels like a foreigner in his own country. Rogier’s comedy mostly draws on his personal life and experiences, which fits his storytelling-style of comedy. He claims to not have an ego, enabling himself to be the primary subject of many of his own jokes.

Mikaela Burch

Detroit raised Mikaela Burch has recently been giving the Amsterdam comedy scene a new look. She is not afraid to tackle controversial topics in society and expose them in causal, smooth comedic demeanour.

Nira Tal

Nira is a comedian known for her understated delivery and wry takes on life. She’s an Israel-native, 40-something mother and wife. In 2018, she turned to comedy as part of her midlife crisis and discover that mediocrity is also an art form. She performed in several comedy festivals in Europe including the Mad Goat Comedy Festival, Boom Chicago Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She is a regular comedian at Comedy Club Haug in Rotterdam.

Aleksandr Pereverzev

Originally from Georgia, already doing standup for 3 years in Switzerland, Georgia, Russia, Germany and now in the Netherlands. He also was an invited co-median for a BBC arts hour on tour live podcast.

Zep Giuseppe

Zep is a comedian from Amsterdam and Eindhoven. His comedy is somewhat surreal and slightly dorky. Zep brings to the stage a way of seeing the world influenced by his work as illustrator and visual artist: He’ll paint a colorful word picture that will make you laugh.
