Weather Forecast November: Chilly Days Coming to Haarlem

Chilly Days Coming to Haarlem: Temperatures Drop to 9°C as Clouds and Showers Move In

The temperature is set to drop sharply this coming weekend after a prolonged mild spell, according to weather bureau Weeronline. In the northern part of the country, daytime highs will hover around 7° C, while in the south readings of 11–14° C are expected.

On Saturday, the north will feel particularly cold — a fresh to strong north-easterly wind will push the wind-chill down to between 1° and 4° C. Dry conditions will largely prevail, with light showers and the odd sunny spell.

By Sunday, the whole country will cool further, with temperatures remaining below 10° C. The wind will ease somewhat, so it should feel marginally milder in the north than on Saturday. There’s a chance of rain in Limburg, though the rest of the country is likely to stay dry.

Looking ahead into next week, afternoon highs are expected to drop to around 6° C. Some sunny spells are possible, but showers — and even hail — may form. The first overnight frost inland is also on the cards, marking a likely first frost of the season.

According to long-range forecasts by KNMI, this chilly pattern may continue toward the end of the month, before temperatures gradually begin to rise again.
