Car ends up in ditch Vijfhuizen: bystanders save mother and daughter (4).

This weekend a car ended up in the water along the Drie Merenweg (N205) in Vijfhuizen. Some Mud Masters participants, driving along the site of the accident rescued the woman and her 4-year-old daughter from the vehicle.

When the fire department received the SOS call around 10:35 AM, two dive teams were immediately sent to the scene of the accident. Upon arrival they saw that bystanders had liberated the mother and the daughter out of the car.

The dive teams took care of the victims and rescuers to prevent hypothermia. One of the two victims was injured by the blast and taken to the hospital.
