The station in Hoofddorp was evacuated Tuesday morning after a possible threat. It concerns the international train from Brussels that is still stopped. Passengers are transported by buses.

ProRail talks to newspaper Haarlem Dagblad about a “suspicious behavior in a train to Amsterdam.”

An arrest team is on location, a spokesman for the emergency service said.

A spokesman for the National Coordinator for Counter-terrorism and Security reports that there are no signs that the potential threat has anything to do with the attacks in Brussels.

Train traffic to Hoofddorp is completely stopped.
