The story about this Dutch Windmill through time… How does the windmill work, what does a miller do? Get to know all this & more in our tour.

We all get the occasion to see how a windmill works with a tour in De Zandhaas, this is your time to ask all your questions about one of the oldest Dutch crafts through time: being a miller on a windmill!

For an impressive video of this windmill, have a look at my article:

If you never visited Santpoort before, this is an extraordinary moment to do so! It’s a little village in the outskirts of the city Haarlem and surrounded by the beautiful nature of the National Park Zuid-Kennemerland

The Windmill tour will be in English and will take up around 30/60 minutes. After the tour we will have a look at the shop inside with numerous tasty “fresh milled” baking and cooking products!!

We will meet in front of the windmill at 10:15 as the tour will start on 10:30. Please be on time.

Costs: € 5,00 p.p. to be paid in advance by bank transfer: NL93 KNAB 0647 6415 26 (Name: expatsHaarlem) with specification payment reference MILL1. You are only officially registered after payment. Due to safety reasons and a little climb on the windmill children can sign up from only age 8 and up.
