Ten cars collide on A9 near Velsen-Zuid due to hailstorm

About ten cars collided on the A9 near Velsen-Zuid yesterday, police reported. You could hear the crash in whole Haarlem North.

One person was taken to the hospital injured.

The accident was caused by slipperiness after a hailstorm. After the collision, the A9 from Alkmaar towards Amsterdam was closed for some time.
The emergency lane was released for traffic stuck behind the accident, reports NH Nieuws. In the tail of the traffic jam behind the accident, a number of cars also collided. Those only had minor damage to their eyes.
