Things to do in Haarlem

The weather is getting colder but that doesn’t mean Haarlem is quiet. From the Comedy Factory night to the arrival of Sinterklaas himself; November is full of activities for the whole family.

From Friday 2 November to 4 November Haarlem turns into an artist paradise showcasing various local artists work throughout the whole city. Kunstlijn 2018

Friday 2 November is an English speaking Comedy Night, doors open from 20.00.

Friday 2 November is a throwback to the 90s party at the Patronaat Haarlem.

Saturday 3 November the Great Church in the centre of town is turning into a fabulous book market. The market starts at 9 am and ends at 5 pm. It is free to enter.

Sunday 11 November is Sint Maarten Dag, where children will sing and recite poems door to door with their paper lanterns, in exchange for treats.

Wednesday 14 November, come and practise your Dutch at the Dutch Language Cafe. 

Sunday 18 November, the big man himself arrives in Haarlem on his steamboat with his Pieten. Sinterklaas moors in Haarlem at 13.00. Check the parade route here.

The last Friday of the month is the end of month drink. Location and time to be confirmed.
