Wow! It’s October already?! One of my personal favourite times of the year, with all the glorious golds, browns and red colours, here are things to do in Haarlem that make this windy and wet month a little cosier.

Starting From Friday 5 October, the Teylers Museum will organize a major exhibition on Leonardo da Vinci.

Also on Friday 5 October, is the Stand-up Haarlem English Comedy show, get your tickets here.

On Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 October, a market in the Grote Markt called Haarlem Duurzaam Markt will take place.

From Saturday 13 October, you can see personal artworks by Frans Hals, at the Frans Hals Museum.

Also on Saturday 13 October, is the expatsHaarlem, Experience Haarlem Fair. A day of free lectures, workshops & presentations; stands from local businesses; food and drinks; children’s entertainment; a pub quiz; live singers and DJ; networking, socializing, and most of all—having fun!

Wednesday 17 October, you can practise your Dutch with the Dutch Language Cafe.

From Thursday 18 October, is the music festival, take me church, where various churches in Haarlem are hosting various music acts and bands.

This article will be updated when other activities are confirmed. Please come back often!
